Jax Gives Back
We Believe in Giving Back and Helping Others
Jax Transport, LLC has always believed that we are blessed. We know others aren’t as fortunate as we are. That’s why we strive to help others whenever they’re in need. Passing our fortunes forward is one of our core principles at Jax and remains part of who we are as a company. You can see some of our efforts at Jax below. Feel free to contact us if you want to help contribute to the causes that are meaningful to the Jax family.
Snack Pak 4 Kids
Dyron and Kelly Howell discovered more than 3,200 children in the Amarillo Independent School District relied only on the meals served to them at school for their weekly food. That meant hundreds of children spent their nights and weekends hungry.
Determined to find a way to address this need, the Howells assembled 10 bags of food that could be prepared without adult supervision. On Friday, September 3, 2010, the first 10 SP4K recipients received a bag containing enough food to get them through the weekend.
Today, the program has grown to serve more than 10,000 kids in 51 school districts.
Jax is proud to donate over $100,000 annually to help support this great cause.
Additionally, $163,600 was raised by our local beef and dairy community at the Beef 4 Kids Classic golf tournament hosted by Texas Cattle Feeders Association in 2019. 100% of this money will go towards making sure the kids we serve have access to 5 pounds of beef protein in their Snack Paks this year.
Thanks also goes to Tyson Foods, Baptist Community Services, Friona Industries LP, Hi-Pro, Caviness Beef Packers, Cargill, Cactus Feeders, Micro Technologies, BSA Care Xpress, Kemin, and Champion Feeders.
Casas por Cristo
Casas por Cristo, which is headquartered in El Paso, Texas, exists to open the door for local pastors and churches to share the love of Jesus Christ by serving. Their missions of “build and serve” is achieved by building homes for families in need.
They began building homes along the U.S./Mexico border in 1993, and have since expanded to Ciudad Acuna, Mexico, San Raymundo, Guatemala, Santiago, Dominican Republic, and Chinandega Nicaragua. To date, they have provided over 6,000 families with homes.
Jax Transport has committed to donating $100,000 in 2023 to pay for the construction costs of ten homes for families in need. Additionally, members of our staff and our drivers will be joining in on the construction of these homes!
Tornado Alley BMX Park
Tornado Alley BMX Park was created to bring back the joy of BMX biking in the Amarillo area and to help give kids an activity that not only keeps them out of trouble, but gives them the physical and mental activities that can lead to healthy lifestyles.
Tornado Alley BMX park also gives young kids the opportunity to experience what it’s like to ride like we did when we were kids. An opportunity to get time away from the Xbox and to exercise more than our thumbs. It’s a great experience to be able to see kids enjoy biking like we did when we were young.
Jax has purchased 20 bicycles and about donated $10k in tools, services and supplies for the Torando Alley BMX park. Helping Amarillo kids stay busy and out of trouble while promoting healthy lifestyles is part of our mantra to pass our good fortune forward.

There are so many issues in the world today that they often distract from the things married couples should be focusing on – such as their marriage. Hideaway helps couples focus on one of the most valuable assets they have in life – their relationship with each other.
Hideaway’s focus to help maintain and build healthy marriages and relationships is similar to our belief at Jax to build strong relationships with our drivers and our partners. These strong bonds are the important to all of us and is why we whole-heartedly support Hideaway’s mission.
Jax is proud to donate to Hideaway’s cause. We believe one more great relationship helps add to the good in this world that makes communities strong.
